- Presidents Report – We have met with the Honourable Matt Greg Federal Member for Deacon and the Honourable Sam Rae Federal Minister for Aged Care and Seniors. Much was discussed, including all the changes and problems with the shift from My Aged Care to Support at Home and the NDIS changes as well.
- Meeting with the Honourable Tim Bull MP – We were advised that things were “chaotic” in the Assembly Chamber when we arrived at the Victorian Parliament House, but none the less Tim was very generous with his time to meet with us and discuss the talking points previously provided to him
- Morning Tea with The Honourable Sam Rae (Federal. Minister for Ageing) and The Honourable Matt Gregg (Federal Member for Deakin) –A very informative and enjoyable morning was spent listening to The Honourable Sam Rae; Federal Minister for Ageing, talking about the Support at Home Program and the efforts the Government is undertaking to try and make it more accessible and workable.
